The Hercules Car Lift is a space-saving system

Entry North Sydney

The Hercules Car Lift is a space-saving system, enabling you to get from one level to another in your home, residential or commercial property.

Space-consuming, expensive ramps and ascents are a thing of the past. With recent building developments becoming smaller, the inclusion of a car lift could be the difference between a development being approved or not being approved. Not to mention the easy access car parking the car lift provides.

A car lift removes the need for access ramps in multi storey buildings, providing more space on every floor and allowing for multi-level car-parking in buildings with a small footprint while reducing costs for the developer.

Hercules offers a wide selection of car lifts that have one thing in common: cars are transported from one level to another in a space-saving way. Parking space can be easily created in the basement of residential and commercial buildings or the vehicle can be parked directly on the living floor. Car lifts operate in the same way as a normal passenger lift. However instead of transporting only you, a car lift transports you and your car to your designated floor in a multi storey car park.

Hydraulic Car Hoists

Hydraulic car lifts or hoists provide spatial benefits to the design of a building. The shaft size required is smaller than other car lifts, as well as the pit depth and top overrun dimension. The reduced top overrun can be beneficial in designing the next level of a building. However, hydraulic car lifts do operate at a slower speed (standard 0.30m/s to 0.60m/s) and are generally more suitable for car lift installations with a lower number of levels served.

One example is the Hercules Single Stage Vehicle Hoist. A hydraulic driven platform designed to safely transport vehicles vertically and comfortably to and from parking levels. The Single Stage Vehicle Hoist is most suitable for travelling between two levels with a maximum travel distance of 3.5 metres. The lift shaft is kept free of machinery. Maximum speed 0.17 m/sec.

Another example is the Hercules Two Column Vehicle Hoist. A hydraulic driven platform designed to safely transport vehicles vertically and comfortably to and from levels. This particular hoist is most suitable for travelling between three to four levels with a maximum travel distance of 12 metres. Maximum speed 0.3 m/sec.

The High-Speed Wire Rope Lift

The High-Speed Wire Rope Lift encompasses a leading design for multi-passenger, fast, safe, and comfortable vertical travel. Most suitable for tall buildings with long travel distances or buildings which require fast operational times, this lift has no restriction on travel distance and can be designed to any distance required.

The High-Speed Wire Rope Lift features a traction drive system which reduces vibrations. This allows for high speed travel at one metre per second with minimal noise and movement, thereby maximising the comfort and experience for the user. The unique drive system is designed to fit within the lift shaft. It does not require an overhead motor room, thereby minimising space for compact designs. The lift is also equipped with a counterweight, reducing power usage, increasing the efficiency of the lift and saving on power costs.

The High-Speed Wire Rope Lift is a fully enclosed cabin including doors, walls and roof with optional modern and luxury lift designs. With a single press of the button the lift will automatically travel to the desired level. The Hercules High-Speed Wire Rope Lift is designed to Australian Standards and is fitted with all mandatory safety equipment.

Ramps can take up to a third of the valuable floor plate space, so introducing a car lift can very easily gain you many extra spaces for minimal cost.

Why not plan your next building without a space-consuming ramp. We at Hercules would be delighted to assist you in choosing the most suitable car lift to meet your requirements.
